Information and Activities for High School Students

Students in the Faculty of Agriculture come from diverse backgrounds (urban, regional, rural and international). They study and conduct research at Camden and Sydney and gain practical experience on our research farms at Narrabri, Goulbourn and Moree. Most degree courses are conducted in small classes and have a strong external focus with national excursions and field-based studies. The student body is active and socially cohesive - it's fun to be part of it.

The Faculty has a range of activities to give you a taste of what it's like to study in one of our degrees - Agricultural Economics, Resource Economics, Agricultural Science, Horticultural Science, Land and Water Science.

  • We hold a Senior Ag Camp for Year 11 and 12 students in November each year;
  • We offer a range of powerpoint presentations on the Faculty's degrees and activities;
  • Faculty representatives visit schools on request.
