Our research is exploring new frontiers in food production, carbon cycling and agricultural sustainability and is strongly integrated in our teaching. Student engagement with practice and research is a primary aim of our teaching program.

Professor A. McBratney, working with Dr T. Koppi and Dr D. Field, has been awarded a grant from the Australian Learning and Teaching Council to research the development of a national soil science curriculum.
At the Convention to Combat Climate Change in Copenhagen Prof Alex McBratney will be participating as a member of the European Commission delegation.
