Academic background

Admission requirements for the Graduate Certificate of Agriculture, Graduate Diploma of Agriculture and Master of Agriculture are normally a three-year Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification. In some instances the admission requirements may be met by evidence of general or professional qualifications and appropriate work experience to indicate that the student has the academic preparation and capacity to completed the nominated program.

English Language requirements (for international students)

IELTS of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or TOEFL 550 plus a TWE of 5.0. English language test scores must be less than 2 years old at the date you apply to the University of Sydney.

Documentation

All documents submitted to the University of Sydney must either be original documents or certified copies of original documents. An original document must carry on it the original stamps and signatures of the issuing authority.

Guidelines for certifying documents

When originals are not available and copies of originals are submitted, it is essential that the person certifying the copy has sighted the original. Documents can only be certified by the issuing institution, an Australian diplomatic post, a registered agent of the University of Sydney, or, in the People’s Republic of China, a notary public. Justices of the Peace (JPs) are not authorised to certify documents. A registered agent of the University must use the agency stamp and sign and print their name on each page when certifying a copy.
